The Hard Cover of this Notebook has been covered by Lokta Paper and the white paper inside is Handstitched (160 Pages). The Notebook is entirely made by Hand in Nepal.
The Lokta Paper come from the bark of the Daphne Papyracea shrub which grows wild in the Himalayas. This strong long fiber paper has its origin in traditonal Himalyan paper used since many centuries for the legal documents and religious manuscripts of tibet, bhutan and Nepal.
Our Nepalese partners are also part of the very few companies in Nepal that have been able to obtain the Fair Trade Certification. Hence, they are members of the Fair Trade Group Nepal, whose main goal is to promote fair trade practices in Nepal.
Our supplier is working with their partners where organisation, remuneration, working time, women's employment, protection of employees and environment are at the heart of a permanent dialogue.
