These are traditional Indian Puppets made by the Putli Bhats, a community of performing artists who travelled from village to village with their portable theatres entertaining gatherings telling stories about local heroes. Today the remaining puppet makers are in the Jaipur area. These puppets will bring you a smile and will light an area like a shelf or an alcove.
